“Ya, hidup tak selamanya menongkat langit. Keseronokan itu madu. Manis dan nikmat. Tapi apa gunanya nikmat itu andai ianya sesat lagi menyesatkan. Apatahlagi Tuhan tidak meredhakan. Aku akur. Ya, untuk berubah memang cukup pahit. Bak hempedu. Bak racun.”, Y lagi.
Dia bungkam lagi.
“Siapapun tidak akan dapat melukakan kesakitan. Keperitan. Tetapi kalau kita akur. Kita manut. Kita ikut kehendak Dia yang menjadikan, kau akan rasai nikmatnya kebahagiaan. Biarpun pada masa yang sama kau dihurung dugaan demi dugaan.”, Y. Hikmah nasihatnya.
Ada takungan air di pelupuk matanya. Merona merah. Lalu dia tersengguk di bahu Y.
“Tidak. Sekali-kali aku tidak akan membuangmu sahabatku. Aku bukan manusia pendendam. Aku ini sekerdil-kerdil manusia. KudratNya hanya kupinjam Dia.”, Y menutup bicara.
Ya Rabb.
Tunjukkan kami jalan yang benar.
Jalan yang Kau berikan kepada mereka.
Jalan yang tidak sesat dan tidak pula menyesatkan.
